Yesterday was a SUPER FUN DAY!! =]



I went down to the beach and met up with John Baker, Mark Leonas, and Patrick Estes...P3!!! The guys were out for a surf session and I brought my waterhousing to take photos of them.

...but here are a few photos from the AMAZING hike Tom and I went on after the beach....it was soooo beautful..and hot!!....We were having so much fun hanging out at the top...chatting and telling stories....that we didn't know it was getting so dark!! We ended up having to walk back down the mountain in thick trees in PITCH dark!! Luckily we had the lil' light from my cell phone to light the way! HAHH!!

DAY 4, Painting #1

OMG...where am I going with this?/ SOmetimes I think it's helping my LONG days at work...grab a few brushes and SLAP that paint around!! No perefect lines...just CHAOS!!..it's FUN!....I think I my NEVER finish this piece JUST so I can keep changing it EVERYDAY I paint on it!

Been Awhile!

Last week I went home back to Laguna and had to go to a funeral of a great friend and mentor...my master teacher Gordon Yeaton...I do feel so lucky to have had him in my life!

This week I fly back east to North Carolina...for those of you that knew my grandma was sick...a few weeks ago she passed away....this weekend is her memorial.

Santa Barbara School District Art Show

Today was the opening reception for my students and others from the Santa Barbara school district! They all did sooo well!! I'm so proud of them!! =]

Here are some fun photos....
Last night I was kicking it at home.....and then Dana came over....SO it's PHOTO TIME!! =] I was making my new blog...she, like I, hadn't made one or even really used them before....so here we are!=)















SO...I take the train TONS to go back home and visit the family and friends!! This last time I ran into my student Mac at the SB train station....let me say that that trip was the FASTEST trip ever!! =] We were on the computer playing with PhotoBooth for probably 2 1/2 hours!!...then we took a break..then we played more!!....It was one of the best times on the train...out of the 200 photos that we made...here are some fun ones....

So..this is TOTALLY new for me.....I am going to a photo workshop at Brooks Institute on Wedding Photography....and I was recommend to make a Blog....I thought it would be fun!! =]

I live with my lil' fur ball, Zed is my lil' cat...or also HEll on wheels!!..You can ALWAYS find me with scratches and scars on my hands from him...and sometimes when I'm not looking he'll get my FACE!!....claw marks are a majority of MY life!!! But I will always love him!!!
